Who Peacemakers Is For

Peacemakers Youth Ministry is for 6th–12th grade students who want to grow in their faith and build meaningful friendships. Whether your student has been in church for years or is brand new, they’re welcome here.

Christ-Centered, Verse-by-Verse Teaching

At The Oak Church, our youth teaching is Christ-centered and rooted in Scripture. We walk through the Bible verse by verse so students learn what God’s Word says, what it means, and how it applies.

We believe salvation is by grace through faith, and we encourage students to follow Jesus with humility, conviction, and confidence.

Why We’re Called Peacemakers

Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
We want our students to become young men and women who reflect Christ in their character, relationships, and daily walk. Being a peacemaker means living in truth, pursuing peace, and representing Jesus well at home, at school, and with friends.

What Parents Can Expect

Bible-Based Teaching

Verse-by-verse, Christ-centered teaching students can understand.

Grace-Centered Discipleship

We point students to Jesus, not performance.

Welcoming Community

A place to belong, grow, and build real friendships.

Leaders Who Care

We take students seriously and support families.

What a First Visit Looks Like

When students arrive, they begin the service by joining the main congregation for worship. After worship, the Pastor and youth leaders meet students in the lobby and walk together to the Youth Building.

This helps new students feel comfortable and know exactly where to go. Parents are always welcome to ask questions or connect with a leader before or after the service.
